Estimator Job Opening

Our Dallas Based company is looking to add another fun personality to our bunch in the form of an Estimator. We want someone whose strengths come in the form of teamwork, ability to prioritize tasks all day long, and an affinity for finding the best solutions to any issues our customers can throw at us. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the estimating portion of the procurement process on multiple construction projects.
  • Assign and review all work scopes on a timely basis in order to meet bid deadlines.
  • Utilize vendor data to establish database pricing.
  • Discuss and establish bid strategies, concerns and advantages.
  • Review pricing and take-offs for all scopes of work to ensure completion.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with existing vendors.
  • Set up bid spreadsheets to finalize a bid.
  • Assist Operations Department as needed to facilitate teamwork.
  • Be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field.
  • Ability to plan and establish goals.


  • Willingness to learn new things and jump in when needed.
  • Thrives in a team environment.
  • Above average understanding of the construction bidding process and construction documents.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
