The monolithic appearance of the lineal grain Rift Cut White Oak creates the perfect contempory space. Borrowing inspirition from the Renzo Piano Pavillion at the near by Kimbell Art Museum the Architects requested a modified subfloor system to accomodate free standing art display walls. With minimal space to work with Woodwright assisted the design team in creating a viable solution involving thinner stell brackets inlayed flush with the 3/4″ Plywood subfloor that the wood floor layed directly over.
